Due to the intense charism our group has pledged itself to - Spiritual Warfare - Cohort Members are required to:
- Be practicing Catholics who attend Sunday Mass diligently
- Exercise a devotion to our Patron, St. Michael the Archangel; viewing him as our true leader, spiritual mentor, and as a brother **
- Recite the prescribed three Daily Prayers with the intent of combating and negating the evil works of the devil, his legions, and their earthly followers **
- Attend Cohort Prayer Meetings (Auxiliary Members unable to attend in-person meetings express their solidarity by reciting the Meeting Prayers twice monthly) **
- Go to Confession at least monthly, preferably on First Saturdays **
- Abstain from eating meat on Tuesdays as a voluntary sacrifice to combat and atone for the wicked acts of the devil, his minions, and their earthly followers **
** NOTE: With the exception of the first listed Commitment,
failure to fulfill the others does not constitute committing sin.
It needs to be emphasized that the effectiveness of the Cohort of St. Michael the Archangel lies greatly in the unity of its members' actions, prayers, and purpose, in conjunction with our faith in Jesus Christ... so Mahalo Nui Loa to all Cohort Members for your commitment to our cause. Know that Holy Masses are regularly offered for all of YOU - God bless us and St. Michael protect us!
