IMPORTANT: One must never directly engage or provoke the demonic (e.g. via ghost/spirit hunting, "lay-exorcisms", etc.). However, as baptized Christians, we are empowered by Christ to prayerfully combat and protect ourselves from dark forces that may come against us. Living humbly and praying regularly, along with receiving the Sacraments diligently, are essential to warding off the influence of evil.
