MEETING [GROUP] PRAYERS

Cohort Members come together for in-person prayer meetings twice a month - see meeting information here.  We pray the following at each meeting:

+ + +  The Rosary  + + +

[We offer the Rosary to “blind” Satan and his legions, using the “Flame of Love” Hail Mary dictated by Our Lady, in the Church-approved revelations received by the Hungarian lay-mystic, Elizabeth Kindelmann.  This Rosary is also offered for the spiritual benefit and protection of all Cohort Members.] **

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee, blessed are Thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, spread the effect of grace of Thy Flame of Love over all of humanity, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

** Note:  Cohort Groups may also pray the
Rosary using the traditional Hail Mary.

+ + +  The Cohort Chaplet  + + +

[This prayer is unique to the Cohort of St. Michael the Archangel and is for private use only.  Composed with the intent of focusing our collective prayers towards important segments of our world attacked by evil, it has the support of our priest-advisors.

The Cohort Chaplet is prayed using the standard Rosary beads (optional) and may be recited in addition to, or in substitute of, our prescribed Daily Prayers.

When praying this chaplet, Cohort Members take turns reading each Battle narrative aloud then recite the accompanying prayers.]

+ Sign of the Cross

   L)  Who is like the Lord our God
   R)  Who is enthroned on high

+ St. Michael Prayer

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle.  Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.  May God rebuke him we humbly pray and, do thou O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen.

+ The FIRST BATTLE – We pray to combat and defeat the forces of evil attacking the Catholic Church:

St. Michael the Archangel, we beseech your aid, along with the other holy angels, against the wicked spirits fiercely assaulting the Church, even infiltrating it to corrupt its members, especially our clergy and other consecrated men and women - demons spawning irreverence, sacrilege, heresy, dissension, and falling away from the True Faith.  Repel their attacks against the Church and cast them back into the pits of hell from whence they came.  Amen.

[after each of the five “Battles” add an
Our Father, a Hail Maryand a Glory Be]

+ The SECOND BATTLE – We pray to combat and defeat the forces of evil infiltrating and influencing different levels of world governments, especially within our own country:

St. Michael the Archangel, we beseech your aid, along with the other holy angels, against the wicked spirits working within domestic and foreign governments to corrupt their leaders and citizens; inciting immorality, injustice, unrest, wars, and the passing of laws directly opposed to the Will of God.  Break their influence on governing officials and cast them back into the pits of hell from whence they came.  Amen.

+ The THIRD BATTLE – We pray to combat and defeat the forces of evil working through various satanic, occult, and new age beliefs and practices:

St. Michael the Archangel, we beseech your aid, along with the other holy angels, against the wicked spirits operating through satanic churches, occult and new age sects, and diabolic secret societies.  Break the power exercised by their followers and render their collective rituals, spells, and curses ineffective.  Bind the demons behind their malefices and cast them back into the pits of hell from whence they came.  Amen.

+ The FOURTH BATTLE – We pray to combat and defeat the forces of evil diabolically infecting and corrupting our general society:

St. Michael the Archangel, we beseech your aid, along with the other holy angels, against the wicked spirits working to mislead, ruin, and destroy all mankind; fueling hate, anger, addictions, murder, self-worship, false ideologies, rebellion against God, and the persecution of Christians.  Guide all sinners to conversion and cast these demons back into the pits of hell from whence they came.  Amen.

+ The FIFTH BATTLE – We pray to combat and defeat the forces of evil attacking us, personally, and our families:

St. Michael the Archangel, we beseech your aid, along with the other holy angels, against the wicked spirits who seek to harm us and our family members.  Dismantle any footholds they have in our lives and, through the omnipotent power of God, break generational sins and curses that bind us to evil; causing afflictions of every sort.  Instill in us deeper faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord, and safeguard us against every attack of the devil and his infernal army - cast them back into the pits of hell from whence they came.  Amen.

   L)  O Lord, come to our assistance
   R)  Lord, make haste to help us

   L)  St. Michael, Prince and Leader of the
         Heavenly Hosts
   R)  We stand with you

   L)  Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and
         to the Holy Spirit
   R)  Amen

+ + +  The Golden Arrow  + + +

[This prayer was given by Our Lord to Sr. Marie of St. Peter, a Carmelite of Tours (France) who died in the odor of sanctity in 1848.  It is both a prayer and a powerful weapon against blasphemy - to download a printable, informative brochure about this prayer, click here.]

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and ineffable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored, and glorified; in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.  Amen.

+ +  Anima Christi (Closing Prayer)  + +

Soul of Christ, sanctify us.  Body of Christ, save us.  Blood of Christ, inebriate us.  Water from the side of Christ, wash us. Passion of Christ, strengthen us.  O Good Jesus, hear us.  Within Your wounds hide us.  Permit us not to be separated from You.  From the wicked enemy, defend us.  At the hour of our deaths, call us and bid us come to You, that with Your saints, we may praise You forever and ever.  Amen.
